    Beading wire, gold
    Beads, 2mm, clear
instructions
  1. Happy Mother's Day Card - 1 Fold white card, 5.5cm x 30cm, in half and stick to the front of a white blank, 15cm square. Open the small piece out, then layer bee paper, 14cm square, onto the main front so the white panel covers the bottom when folded.

2 Trim around the pattern at the top and 9cm down the right side of honeycomb paper, 14cm square, then cut out a few hexagons using a craft knife. Stick to the front of the white flap.

3 Print or copy the bee template onto white, colour the body yellow, then cut out. Fold gold wire, 22cm long, in half and twist, leaving 2cm at the end. Add a bead to each end, twisting the wire to secure. Tape wire to the back of the bee.

4 Glue yellow card, 3.5cm x 15cm, across the honeycomb panel, 3.5cm from the bottom. Print or copy the 'Happy Mother's Day' sentiment onto white, then cut out. Mount to pink card.

5 Matt a monogram template onto white, then cut out using a 5cm circle die. Use 3-D foam pads to mount onto a brown spotty scalloped circle, 6cm diameter. Tape four bees on gold wire to the back and stick to the left of the sentiment.

6 Once dry, bend the wires to position the bees and antenna. Punch seven daisies from white card, colour the centre circle yellow, then stick them along the edges of the right-hand yellow strip.

  2. Bee-inspired Greeting - 1 Trim floral and spotty brown papers, 7cm x 14cm. Layer onto a white blank, 15cm square, with the brown panel at the bottom. Punch a 6cm scalloped circle from the right of the bottom half. Cover the inside of the blank with honeycomb paper.

2 Print 'Happy Mother's Day' onto white. Snip 5mm from the end, then glue it above the brown panel to the right. Stick the 5mm piece to the left. Punch a scalloped circle from yellow cardstock and stick it centrally between the two.

3 Add a 'HMD' circle to the scalloped shape using foam pads, then tuck one corner of a 4cm square sentiment under at the bottom. Decorate the other corners with three daisies. Add two bees to wire as before.

4 Tape two bees to the reverse so one is visible through the scalloped aperture, folding the other over the right edge of the card. Glue a 4.5cm length of wire bent into antenna shape behind a
third bee, then use foam pads to secure it above the scalloped circle.

  3. Sweet Gift Boxes - 1 Transfer the box template onto mountboard, use a craft knife to cut out, then score along the dotted lines and fold up the sides. Trim six pieces of patterned paper, 4.3cm x 5cm, and use to cover the outer sides. Repeat with brown patterned paper for the inner ones.

2 Decorate the bottom of the box with a motif and small coloured hexagons. Punch a small hole 5mm from each outer corner of the shape. Fold up the sides and thread organza ribbon through, finishing in a double knot to secure the box.

3 Trim co-ordinating card, 5cm x 26cm, then score and fold at 8.5cm, 13cm and 21.5cm. Add a letter motif, layered on a scalloped circle, to the top of the long section in the middle. Secure the outer long section to the base of the box to create a flap.

4 Add two bees to wire as before, then thread the end of one through a punched hole on each side and twist to secure. Add a bee with an antenna to the front of the box using foam pads. Make two more boxes to spell out 'Mum'.
