Card, A4; green, turquoise; lime green
    Photopaper, gloss
    Foam pads
Craft knife, cutting mat, metal ruler
instructions
  1. Ben and the Omnitrix - 1. Score and fold a piece of A4 deep green card to make an A5 blank. Print out a comic style background onto an A5 piece of gloss photo paper and trim around the design leaving a 5mm border. Glue this to the top left of the card.

    2. Print out a single, 10cm tall image of Ben 10 and a 4cm tall Omnitrix and cut these out leaving a very small white border around the images. Fix these to the card with 3D foam pads.

  2. Aliens - 1. Cut and fold a piece of turquoise card 15cm by 30cm to make a square card blank. Print out a Ben 10 background onto a piece of A5 gloss photo paper and cut down to 13cm square. Glue this to lime green paper and trim to leave a 2mm border before fixing to the front of the blank.

    2. Print out small images of Heatblast, Grey Matter and Cannonbolt and cut them all out leaving a very small white border. Cut out three 5cm diameter circles from leftover turquoise card and glue an alien to the centre of each one.

    3. Fix the alien motifs to the front of the card blank with 3D foam pads so that you leave a complete image of Ben 10 in the background.

  3. Gwen - 1. Fold a sheet of A4 lime green card to make an A5 blank. Print out a circuit board background onto a piece of A5 gloss photo paper, trim to 13cm x 19cm and glue to the centre of the card.

    2. Print out two images of Gwen about 11cm tall and trim one to a rectangle. Place this onto a piece of lime green card and trim to leave a 3mm border. Fix this panel to the front of the card with 3-D foam pads.

    3. Take the other image of Gwen and cut her out along the black border. Cut away her arm and leg in the background as well as her sash and stick the remaining portion of the character to the main panel with 3-D foam pads.

  4. Ben - 1. Fold a sheet of A4 pale green card to make an A5 blank. Print out an alien background onto a piece of A5 gloss photo paper, trim to 13cm x 19cm and glue to the centre of the card.

    2. Print out two images of Ben about 11cm tall and trim one to a rectangle. Place this onto a piece of pale green card and trim to leave a 2mm border. Fix this panel to the front of the card with 3-D foam pads.

    3. Take the other image of Ben and cut him out along the black border. Cut away his arm and leg in the background and stick the remaining portion of the character to the main panel with 3-D foam pads.
