instructions
  1. Shell Bracelet - 1 Cover your hands, tools and seahorse mould with a thin film of badger balm. Pinch off a ball of the clay and form into a ball. Press into the shell mould so the design is covered but the clay is below the level of the mould.

2 Let the clay firm up before gently peeling back the mould and popping out the motif. Make a small hole at the top of the shell using a cocktail stick and leave the piece for several hours to dry out.

3 Sand around the shell if required and enlarge the hole with a needle file. Place onto the firebrick and move the torch over the surface; keep it glowing red for one minute as this will ensure a good fire. Leave to cool down completely.

4 Dip a wire brush into dish soap and scrub away the white coating until the silver beneath is revealed. Polish the surface with sandpaper until smooth, then finally buff to a mirror finish with a buffing pad.

5 Attach a few blue turquoise beads to a chain, evenly spacing them as you do so, and attach the shell charm to the centre with a jump ring. CB
