instructions
  1. Bracelet - 1. Cut three lengths of Beadalon each 40cm. Thread all three through the crimp, the lobster clasp and back through the crimp bead. Squash to secure the threads, place the crimp cover over it and close with pliers. Trim excess Beadalon. Add three beads using the semiprecious chips and Japanese square beads.

    2. Thread the three strands of Beadalon through a flattie. Add a random selection of semiprecious chips, square beads and small seed beads on each of the strands so that 1.5cm is covered. Use about four chips and three or four squares and fill in the rest with seed beads.

    3. Push the three strands through another flattie and continue in this way until you have threaded on five flatties. Add three beads using the chips and square beads. Thread the three strands through a crimp bead, into the top link of 3cm of chain, back through the crimp and finish as before.

    4. Make the dangle by threading three squares and two chips onto five headpins, forming loops (see Basic Techniques, page 49) and attach them to the last two links of the extension chain. This makes a 20cm bracelet.

  2. Earrings - 1. Attach three squares and two chips on headpins to two links of chain. Thread a 10cm piece of Beadalon halfway through the top link, and push both ends up through the flattie. Thread ends through a square and then a crimp bead and a jump ring, then back through the crimp. Squash crimp and cover as before.
