Pacific Splash Lariat - 1. Unravel Beading silks and bring both ends together. Cut off needles and discard. Thread both ends through your medium beading needle.
2. Thread 10 4mm bicones onto the end. Pass this beaded length through the pendant then form a loop with these beads and tie a double knot. Apply a tiny amount of glue to the knot to secure. Place a crimp cover over the knot and close with pliers.
3. Select 2 round flat beads from the silver foil mix. Reserve one for later. Thread other onto beading silk followed by a spacer. Tie an overhand knot and push it down close to beads (Tip – before tightening the knot put a needle or pin in the loop and pull down on the pin and thread. This ensures you can position the knot exactly where you want.)
4. Tie a knot 4cm away from last knot. Thread a 6mm bicone, a spacer, a silver foil, bead, a spacer and a 6mm bicone. Tie another knot close to beads.
5. Separate threads. Thread 10 4mm bicones onto one strand. Bring threads back together and tie another knot. The “empty” thread will lie alongside the beaded length.
6. Continue in this manner (using the picture as a guide) randomly threading and separating as you go along. Alternate your beaded lengths to use your Smarties and Clear and Simple rounds as well as bicones. Your last cluster should be like your first using the reserved flat round and silvery spacer. NB ensure you have a tail measuring 10 cm left to make the end dangle.
7. Finish off the end as in step 2. (You must make sure your knot is very close to the silver foil bead so that it matches the other end)
