  1. Steps - 1 To create the furniture, using brown 5mm paper, make 48 tightly-rolled pegs from 5mm half strips, nineteen petal shapes and six double-ended coils. To make the teapot, tightly roll three strips of metallic cream end to end and dome, then loosely roll a full strip and dome slightly to make the lid. Glue together.

Loop 2cm of cream metallic card and adhere to form the handle, then for the spout, roll another 2cm and push into a point and adhere. To make a teacup, tightly roll a half strip and glue the inside then attach a small handle with a 1cm length. Place a small circle of brown inside.

For a skirt, stick 12 light blue strips end to end, dry, then roll tightly. Dome to 4cm, then bend slightly and glue inside. For a tunic, tightly roll four strips end to end. Dome to 2cm, bend slightly and seal with glue, then dome and adhere two three-strip sections together. Use a short strip as a belt to cover the join at the waist.

To make arms, roll and stretch a strip to a point, then glue the inside and attach rolled and domed half strips. To make the head, roll two strips end to end, dome and glue inside, then repeat and stick together. To finish, use fineliner pens to draw a basic face.

For the neck, split and roll a pastel pink half strip into a tight peg. For hair, cut 1cm brown lengths and curl, then make a hat from nine rolled cream strips joined end to end. For the legs, roll four pastel pink half strips, then roll a pale blue strip and nip to a point for each shoe. Assemble and glue securely to the chair.

To make flowerpots, join strips end to end and dome, then tap the bottom on a hard surface to flatten. For the tree trunk, roll fifteen quarter strips into tight pegs and glue on top of each other. Make a round tree head by rolling two lots of six strips end to end and doming before joining together.

To quill a rose, roll an 8cm strip for a few turns and fold the paper down the length of the tool. Continue rolling and fold again, gradually forming petals as you do so. To quill flowers, fold a 6cm length in half twice, then snip to about three quarters of the width and the entire length along. Open, quill tightly then fan out.

To make a hyacinth, curl and stick tiny lengths together into a long shape, then lay on acetate to dry. When dry, stick vertically into a pot with some long pointed leaves. Cut thick card, 13cm x 18cm, and cover with dolls house grass using double-sided tape. Secure each item into place with a glue gun.
