Nautical Boat Children’s Card

Have a go at making this fun boat-themed card as featured in issue 51 of Let's Make Cards.

  1. ship shape - 1 Cut a blue blank to 11.5cm square and turn with the fold at the top. Make two circles 10.5cm in diameter from white and red card. Divide the red one into eight equal segments and trim.

    2 Arrange four pieces onto the white disc at equal distances apart and adhere to the blank. Punch a 7.5cm disc from blue patterned paper and attach in the middle of the ring. take a white circle, 6.5cm in diameter, stamp a large boat with blank ink and clear emboss.

    3 Colour using Twinkling H2Os and leave to dry. Stick to the centre of the card using 3D foam pads. Glue a small gem to the bottom of the boat and a large blue one to each corner of the greeting to finish.
