Celebrate a very special day with these projects, made using a selection of gorgeous papers

What you need...

• Paper, Dovecraft, wedding designer pack: 6” x 6”, 12” x 12”
  Card, brights, 8” x 8”, DCWV
  Ribbon, celebrate: yellow, pale blue
  Gems, Papermania, self-adhesive: pale pink, pale blue
  Adhesive: double-sided tape, foam pads, 3-D
  Punches: hole, hearts

instructions

1. Gift Box - 1 Use the squared design sheet from the paper pack to make a box template. The third heart on the second row will become the lid and the third heart along the bottom row, the base. The four squares on the third row will be the box sides. Draw a 1.5cm border around the two sides and the top of the lid square, then repeat on the base, these are the box hinges.
   
   2 Trim two strips of scrap paper, 1.5cm wide. Position the long edge of one up against the end of the last square of the box sides then adhere on the wrong side of the paper with double-sided tape. Attach the remaining length to the base square.
   
   3 Cut out the box template, trimming along the 1.5cm border lines on the lid and base, the two either side of the base square, then cut along the first two (top and base) of the side box squares, omitting the third, and the fourth. Remove the box from the paper sheet then score all the lines between the squares.
   
   4 Assemble the box by placing double-sided tape along the border at the end of the side squares; form the shape by folding along the scored lines, then sticking the border to the first square. Fold the base and the lid into the box. Wrap yellow and blue ribbon around, adhere a yellow bow to the top, then apply self-adhesive gems.
   

2. Wedding Day - 1 Cut a square large enough to fit behind the window of a card blank and, using the wedding cake images in the design pack, adhere this inside the aperture with 3-D foam pads. Trim around the edges of the same cake on another piece of paper. Attach this to the front of the card over the base design, using dimensional adhesive.
   
   2 Trim around a rose motif on the patterned paper, then adhere this as shown. Add ‘Wedding Day’ wording and a flower to the top and base of the window, then apply self-adhesive gems to the cake. Punch hearts into the outer corners of the card front to finish.
   

3. Presents Card - 1 Cut a blank, 11cm x 15cm, from one of patterned papers in the 12” x 12” pack. Trim coral pink card, 7.5cm x 12cm, and attach to the top right-hand corner of the blank with 3-D foam pads.
   
   2 Using the same patterned paper as the blank, but from the 6” x 6” versions, cut out a stack of presents and adhere to the coral section with dimensional adhesive. Attach champagne glass stickers and the word ‘Congratulations', as shown.
   

4. Gift-Tag - 1 Cut two, 13.5cm x 8.5cm, rectangles from the 12” x 12” paper and adhere together, pattern sides facing out. Trim the corners at one end then punch a hole at the top.
   
   2 From the 6” x 6” paper pack, cut out the ‘Wedding Day’ wording and cake images. Attach these to the tag with 3-D foam pads, as shown.
   
   3 To complete, tie yellow ribbon through the hole, glue a bow on just below, and add a selfadhesive gem to the centre.
