Flower Soft
instructions
-
mum's bouquet - 1 Cut a yellow card blank down to 10cm tall and turn so the fold is at the top. Cover the front with pink gingham paper trimmed neatly to the edges. Use spare card to cut a narrow frame, 7cm by 9cm and trim this with scalloped border print paper.
2 Mix up some ivory Flowersoft with a little white iridescent glitter in a small bowl. Pour the mixture into one of the small plastic bags from the kit’s packaging, fold over the top and seal.
3 Fix the bag of Flowersoft to the back of the frame with double sided tape and mount to the centre of the card with 3D foam pads. Tie a bow in the centre of the length of lace and fix across the fold of the card.
4 Decorate the corners of the frame with square gems and a die cut sentiment. Add the bouquet die cut to the centre of the frame. -
yummy mummy - 1 Cut a pink blank down to a square and glue a smaller panel of butterfly patterned paper to the centre. Use spare card to cut out a cupcake shape.
2 Cut strips of gingham and spotted paper and glue to the base of the cupcake shape to create a case.
3 Apply wavy lines of pva to the top of the cake shape to indicate the whirls of icing and sprinkle ivory Flowersoft onto them. Shake off the excess and allow to dry.
4 Fill in the rest of the cake shape with pva and cover with Peony mix Flowersoft, shaking off the excess and leaving to dry.
5 Fix the cake to the centre of the card with 3D foam pads and add a die cut sentiment, butterfly and flower shapes.
-
flower power - 1 Cut a green blank down to 13.5cm by 10.5cm and glue a printed vase panel to the centre. Place 1.5cm wide double sided around the picture to make a frame and remove the backing paper.
2 Sprinkle the sticky frame with yellow Flowersoft and place a clean piece of paper over the top. Press down over the frame to secure the Flowersoft before removing the paper and shaking off the excess.
3 Use lines of pva to stick yellow and green Flowersoft to the leaves on the printed picture. Cut out the separate flowers from the sheet and fix to the main picture with 3D foam pads, adding a dots of glue and Flowersoft to the centre of each. -
spring bulbs - 1 Trim a white blank to 9cm wide and cover with flower patterned paper. Place a strip of double sided tape down the left side of the card. Remove the backing paper and sprinkle with green Flowersoft, pressing down firmly before shaking off the excess.
2 Apply plenty of pva to the edge of the flower chipboard shape cover with peony mix Flowersoft. Cut a piece of card 7cm by 2.5cm and coat with glue and Flowersoft.
3 Place the flower in the centre of the card. Fix the covered panel below this and place a sentiment over the top with more pva.
