What you need...

• Uni-Posca pens: emerald green 3M, metallic green 1MR, metallic blue 1MR
  Table runner, cotton, white

instructions

1. 1 - Wash items on a gentle wash and press on the reverse side of material while still damp. Create a template of motifs inspired by Sharon's designs and position on a light box, securing with masking tape.

2. 2 - Carefully lay the fabric over this, again securing with tape. When placing the fabric, remember that the design will be viewed from both sides.

3. 3 - Trace over the template with a pencil and remove the fabric. Activate the emerald green pen and draw over the guidelines. Next, use a metallic pen to highlight the tendrils on the tail and the wing.

4. 4 - Repeat along the runner. Space the bird motifs, then add twirls between them with a metallic 1MR. Iron on reverse side to set.
