instructions
  1. Ribbon Card - 1 Using the template provided, cut the triangle and collar from red card then snip the pinafore dress and pockets out of a blue blank. Add stitch, button and stripe detail in white crayon. Layer and secure the pieces with spray glue, as shown.

2 Snip three circles for the head, one from skin-coloured card, 6cm diameter, and two brown spheres for the hair, 6cm diameter and 7cm diameter. Cut the smaller brown outline in half and trim out a few notches to form the fringe, then stick to the top part of the face.

3 Draw on the eyes and other features using felt-tip pen. Snip the larger circle into a bob hairstyle. Fix the face and fringe on top then add a small bow for detail. Stick the finished head to the triangular card. Punch four holes, as marked on the template, using an eyelet tool and thread through red ribbon.

4 Attach beads to the ribbon for hands and shoes then knot the legs to secure. Fix the limbs on the reverse of the card with doublesided tape. Adhere a red triangle, slightly smaller than the template, on the inside of the greeting to disguise the ribbon.
