Last night kicked off the Celebrity Bake Off For Sport Relief, and it was a wonderful start to the show! Celeb contestants Samantha Cameron (the Prime Minister’s wife, no less!) comedian, Jason Manford, Eastenders actress, Maddy Hill and former England goal keeper, David James were the first four into the iconic tent, and they cooked up a storm!
Here are our favourite moments from last night’s show, we can’t wait for the next installment!
Jason Manford’s “manapés”
We couldn’t help but chuckle over this new name for the popular party treat, but will it catch on?
They were “edible, nobody died and I think that’s all you can ask for” #cookinggoals @JasonManford #GBBOSportRelief pic.twitter.com/BVR0rT6Tav

Maddy adding a ‘pinch’ of salt to her bake….. or was it?
Poor Maddy! We’ve all been confused by measurements before!
That moment you realise you put an entire pot of salt into your pastry rather than a "pinch" #GBBOSportRelief pic.twitter.com/qIPhW69pXv

The moment David told Paul, Mary and Mel he’d be creating a helmet shaped cake for his show stopper
Turns out, he was paying tribute to his time spent with American football team the Seattle Seahawks, but the look on the judges faces!

Maddy’s soggy choux pastry attempt
She struggled with this one, but we loved her anyway.

This disaster during the showstopper challenge!
And he’s a goalkeeper eh?

Feeling over whelmed by the show stopping bakes? Create a simple, (yet just as affective!) blueberry & lavender cake instead.
Samantha Cameron crowned winner
Well her showstopper was pretty impressive!
